Hello sun!

Thankfully the weather was in our favour when we joined a bunch of other sides, plus the Morena Slovak Dance Company with their beautiful young ladies dancing over their wine bottles, at the Baldock Day of Dance. We performed at various spots around the town and checked out the stalls at the town's festival - especially, for several members, the Orchard Cottage cider one!

In the afternoon Lewis, Bob and Catherine had the opportunity to perform the new 3-man jig we recently learned, Old Tom of Oxford (Headington), for the first time in public which went pretty damned well considering we hadn't practised it for quite a few weeks :-D

The dancing was finished off in customary fashion with a mass dance of Bonny Green Garters outside The White Lion and then it was off to The Orange Tree (not Cherry Tree as Robin kept calling it) for tea and cake and, for those who felt up to it, a bit more dancing in the beer garden.
