Did they know we were coming?!? ;-)

We received a warm welcome from the management and staff at both The Fox & Duck in Therfield and The Old Bull Inn at Royston but, unlike last year, punters were rather thin on the ground. We joked that maybe they knew we were coming! The few people who were there to watch, though, gave enthusiastic and much appreciated applause and Sue and Sally had tagged along for the evening too which boosted the audience by more than 50%!?!

The spot at the Old Bull gave us a chance to try out a couple of dances we hadn't done for a while including Getting Upstairs and Lewis threw Catherine in at the deep end by sitting out a dance and putting her in the #1 position for a refresher course in Old Taylor which meant that he could catch his breath for Highland Mary, one of his solo jigs.
